I had to do a double take yesterday while I was walking around the Austin Convention Center during SXSWi. It wasn’t because two guys were dressed up as unnamed superheroes in the capes. It was because I saw this poster with an Alvin Greene film to debut on Tuesday night.
Part of the description below Alvin Greene’s photo reads, “Meet Alvin Greene — an unemployed veteran flighting felony porn charges — who just happens to be South Carolina’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate.”
Living in South Carolina it almost seems surreal that someone made a film about a man who truly came from obscurity to the center of the national stage. It was always “interesting” to see Alvin take to a microphone or when he went to the State Fair and stood behind a reporter while he was live on the air.
Seriously. I wonder how this came about and who the filmmaker is.
Stay tuned to learn more.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the filmmaker truly captured?
